We are happy to announce that Insel Spital and Tiefenauspital agreed upon a closer collaboration of both clinics within the field of hepatology.

PD Dr. Dr. med. Nasser Semmo, senior physician in hepatology at Insel Spital, took up a 2 days employment within the gastroenterology department of Tiefenau Spital in mid-October 2016 supporting the hepatology team there. Dr. Semmo is a specialist in internal medicine with a focus on gastroenterology and hepatology. From 2000 - 2011 he had worked at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany and ever since he is working as senior physician in the hepatology department of the University Hospital Bern.
