EASL – 1st Digital International Liver Congress – fully successful !

2020 is a very special year with unforeseen challenges as to the world-wide Covid-19 crisis. EASL Board had to undertake unconventional measures. Initially, they had to postpone the International Liver Congress originally planned for April 2020 in Amsterdam for an unknow period. Then facing the hardly unchanged world-wide pandemic situation EASL Board decided to hold the congress virtually. Despite all these challenges the 1st EASL ILC Digital Congress was a complete success.

During the interactive session "General hepatology update: Landmark papers in 2019" Prof. Dufour presented the topic «CHALLENGER» including latest important hepatology research results. Among others, he explained the iLFT model, the so-called «intelligent liver function test.
 

 

The Berner Liver Center Team is already looking forward to the ILC 2021 which hopefully then will take place in Amsterdam.
